Following on from the last post… This Saturday (16th April) see’s the return of the annual Record Store Day, a global celebration of independent record shops. The image above is (an un-finished version) of a print OiPolloi collaborator Ben Lamb is producing for Piccadilly Records on Manchester’s Oldham St. There’s going to be all kinds of good stuff happening on the day, read more it here.

The aforementioned Piccadilly Records is one of Manchester’s best remaining independents, with Vinyl Exchange and King Bee (a personal favourite) deserving a mention too. RIP Fat City, Spin Inn and One Drop.
