Went down to Wet Play at Soup Kitchen on Saturday to see Beautiful Swimmers of PPU / Future Times fame, who were over from Washington DC for the evening – on a mission to provide the ‘boogie-meets-techno-meets-ron-hardy-and-herb-alpert-on-designer-psychedelics-at-6am-at-a-1983-bahamas-pool-party’ vibe. It was good. This mix from Beautiful Swimmers is currently soundtracking the Oi Polloi office, worth a listen.
Also – picked up a copy of Wet Play’s very own Tuck publication whilst I was there, thought I’d share a few scans with you (yes, that is Piccadilly Records’ Matt Ward).
