Whether it’s pound coins down the back of the sofa or a long-forgotten tin of rice pudding in the back of the cupboard it’s fair to say you can dig up some real gems with a spring clean. After a bit of a sort-out in Oi Polloi headquarters a few days ago we stumbled upon definite treasure in the form of some circa ’84 issues of BMX Action featuring more kick-outs than a round of penalties with Bruce Lee, checkerboard Van’s galore and the obligatory photograph of a chimpanzee cruising on a tricycle.
