Gary Aspden and friends have once again been toiling at the adidas SPZL cauldron, conjuring up more seldom-seen shapes from the archives, along with a few new beauties.
This time around it’s all inspired by the city of London, and the enviable collection of Mr Robert Brooks.
What have we got? Well, there’s a football shirt, a tracksuit, a red jacket with loads of pockets, a pretty smart trainer called the Whalley (presumably named after the Lancashire town famously twinned with London), a reissue of 1980’s Super Light running trainer, a navy blue number called the AS520 and the return of the ZX530.
Very nice.
It all goes on sale on our website at 23:00 on Thursday the 7th of March. We’ll also have some of it at our Manchester and Soho shops from 10:00 the following morning. Until then, here’s some photos.
